Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

Every Aquapeutics product is backed by one of the strongest warranties in the industry. We've been standing behind our products since 2007 and our warranty reflects the confidence we have in the quality of everything we sell.

Standard Warranty Coverage

All Aquapeutics brand steam showers, whirlpool tubs, and combination units include the following warranty coverage at no additional charge:

Coverage Type Duration What's Included
Structural Warranty 10 Years Covers the structural integrity of the unit — frame, enclosure panels, tray, and structural components
Parts Warranty 3 Years Covers free replacement parts including steam generator, jet pump, control panel, lighting, and other mechanical and electronic components

During the 3-year parts warranty period, Aquapeutics will supply replacement parts at no charge. After the parts warranty expires, you will be responsible for the cost of the part plus shipping. Labor and installation costs are not covered at any time.

Lifetime Parts Warranty Upgrade

You can upgrade your standard 3-year parts warranty to a Lifetime Parts Warranty for an additional $499 at the time of purchase. This upgrade can be selected at checkout.

What the Lifetime Parts Warranty includes:

  • Free replacement parts for the life of the unit — no expiration date
  • Fully transferable if you sell your home — the warranty stays with the unit
  • Same coverage as the standard parts warranty, extended indefinitely

For a product in the $4,000–$10,000 price range, the Lifetime Parts Warranty upgrade is one of the best investments you can make. A single steam generator replacement alone can cost several hundred dollars — the upgrade pays for itself quickly.

What Is and Is Not Covered

Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
  • Failure of mechanical and electronic components under normal use
  • Steam generator, jet pump motor, control panel, and lighting components
  • Structural components including frame, panels, tray, and enclosure

Not Covered

  • Labor and installation costs — the warranty covers parts only, not the cost of a technician to install them
  • Shipping costs — the cost to ship replacement parts to you is not covered after the standard warranty period
  • Damage from improper installation — units that were not installed according to the provided installation manual and rough-in diagram
  • Damage from operating outside rated specifications — incorrect voltage, water pressure outside the specified range, etc.
  • Cosmetic damage — scratches, chips, or surface marks that do not affect function
  • Damage from unauthorized modifications — cutting or splicing internal wiring, disassembling the control box, or any unauthorized alterations
  • Damage from improper cleaning products — use of acetone, ammonia, abrasive cleaners, or other chemicals not approved for acrylic surfaces
  • Normal wear and tear — gaskets, seals, and other wear items that degrade through normal use over time

Frequently Asked Warranty Questions

Is the warranty transferable?

The Lifetime Parts Warranty upgrade is fully transferable — if you sell your home, the warranty transfers to the new owner with the unit. The standard 3-year parts warranty is tied to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Does the warranty cover damage during shipping?

Shipping damage is handled separately from the product warranty. If your unit arrives with damage, you must note it on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery and contact us within 48 hours with photos. Do not sign a clean delivery receipt for a visibly damaged shipment. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

What if a part is no longer available?

Aquapeutics maintains an extensive parts inventory and works with our manufacturing partners to ensure parts availability for all current models. In the rare case that an exact replacement part is no longer available, we will work with you to find a compatible equivalent.

Can I install replacement parts myself?

Some parts — such as showerheads, jet nozzles, and accessories — can be replaced by the homeowner following the instructions provided. Electrical components including the steam generator, control panel, and pump motor should be replaced by a qualified technician. Improper installation of electrical components can create safety hazards and will void the remaining warranty.

Does the warranty cover the cost of a plumber or electrician?

No. The warranty covers replacement parts only. Labor costs — including the cost of a plumber, electrician, or technician to install replacement parts — are the responsibility of the owner.
